More pointless test footage, this time during the day. Figured out how to do proper slow-motion too without fancy plugins. Always a handy thing to know. High-res version here (24.8MB, .wmv).

Well even though the colours are great straight outta the camera, there is of course some colour correcting going on there.

Yeah I plan to make my own stuff here and there. In what capacity I’m not quite sure but just to get back into making stuff again is quite invigorating.

  Not as nice as the iPhone. Running Google's open-source mobile OS Android.
- TV On The Radio
  Dear Science is indeed excellent. Never a huge fan before but this album is excellent.
- True Blood is a true stinker
  I just watched the pilot episode of HBO's True Blood, written and directed by Alan Ball (of Six Feet Under and American Beauty fame). Terrible effort. Acting is atrocious, direction is uneven and unsatisfying and there's absolutely nothing to hook you in. I'll be giving this series a miss.
- Burn After Reading Reviews
  Hrmmmm the new Coen Bros film gets 48/100 on Metacritic.com but 73% on Rotten Tomatoes. Guess I'll have to see this one for myself to judge.
- Google Chrome
  It's fast, very lightweight and only available for PC at the moment. But will it topple IE or Firefox?
- Canon 50D
  Seems like it's real. 15MP of fun :)
- Best Online Media Converter
  The best online video converter I've found! Greatest results for youtube conversions come from converting to the .flv video format first and then use another converter to get it to .mov or .mp4 (H264).
- Transport Expert says 'Fire Connex'
  I couldn't agree more with this. Everyone in Melbourne knows how bad they are. Let's fire them and ensure this kind of thing happens with a new service too.
- Death Cab For Cutie @ The Palace
  Went to this last night. A great show. They played a lot of older material much to the delight of Lyndsay and myself (plenty of stuff off Transatlanticism :) ) No camera though :(
